16TH ANNUAL "THINK PINK" LUNCHEON
Make plans to attend the 16th annual "Think Pink" Luncheon hosted by the Daily Post Athenian and Starr Regional Medical Center on Friday, October 17th at noon (doors open at 11:30am). This year's event will take place at Southern Events, located at 298 W. Madison Ave., Athens, TN and will be catered by Patriot Cakes. Tickets are $35 each and may be purchased from the DPA office. Proceeds benefit the McMinn County Relay for Life, an American Cancer Society sponsored event.
SCHEDULE YOUR MAMMOGRAM
There's no time like Breast Cancer Awareness Month to schedule your annual mammogram. One in eight women will experience breast cancer. That's why preventative screening is a vital part of a healthy life. If you are 40 or older, a 3D mammogram can detect breast cancer early, when treatment is most effective.
To schedule your mammogram, call 423.744.3372.
